The disc’s flight pattern makes it just as competent for touchy flex shots as for flat-out hyzers. Its low profile makes it easy to grip and easy to release. Järn is Swedish for iron.

Recently bought 2 new Järns to complement my old Järns. The mold has changed - it is not nearly as overstable as the Järn used to be. The old Järn mold was similar in stability to MD5/Toro - the new is significantly less overstable and more like a Zone/Tactic.
The disc itself is really nice, but I was dissapointed since I was expecting a disc similar to what I was used to (identical to my old Järns). There was no information on the website that the mold had changed significantly when I bought the disc - it was however confirmed after a long mail conversation with customer support.
All in all a good disc, but if you want to have a disc with similar overstability to the old Järn-mold, you will have to buy the old pre-Skellefteå made Järn. The new mold is altogether much less overstable (different wing shape and about 1 mm lower parting line). If the old mold was 4,5/3/0/3 I would rate the new mold 4,5/3/0/1,5.
Customers praised this disc golf approach disc for its reliability and stability. One called it "one of my absolute favorites" for forehand approaches around obstacles. The plastic quality received high marks. However, one customer noted the mold changed, making newer versions less overstable than originals.
